Alright, well I'm back at it, finally!!
I spent 5 weeks not working out after I sprained my ankle because I also ended up moving 2 months early to Ottawa. So between those 2 things and wanting to get settled in somewhat and have my head stop spinning, I took off some extra time from the workouts. However I am back at it as of last week and today is my day 8, week 2.
I am happy to back at it, just sucks to have to start over my first round when I should be starting my 2nd round, but things happen. One thing I noticed though during my first workout last week was that I'm still fitter then when the very first time I started Insanity. I'm sure it also has to do with being lighter as well, but its a nice bonus.
One thing that I noticed the first time I did Insanity was that it wasn't until then end of the 4th week that I actually started losing pounds on the scale. Before that it was like I gained weight, I don't know why but I have seen others complain about it as well on the boards. So far this time it seems to be the same. Its not alot of weight, just 5 pounds, but it is odd. So maybe I'm retaining water or something from the extra intact during and after my workouts. We'll see how it goes this week as I'm making more of an effort to keep dairy out of my diet, at least dairy with lactose because my reaction to it seems to be getting worse.
My one challenge is going to be lunch/dinner at work because we get free meals and since we don't get paid for breaks (well i guess basically we're paying for the meals :P) I do it. Mostly it is pretty good, its just portion size I have to watch cause its like they think we're starving all the time with how much they give us. lol And at least at dinner I can pick the healthier options off the menu we have, its just lunch and getting them to give me smaller portions of the starch that day.
