Sticking Point

Ok, I've been consistently losing weight for 3 months straight and lost about 26 lbs total over that time. The last 2 weeks I've been stuck where I am or a pound or 2 higher and just keep rotating thru those numbers. I know you can plateau but what do I need to do to break thru it? I still have at least 25-40 lbs to go to get to where I need to be. I was thinking of doing the 3 day shakeology cleanse but that doesn't give me enough energy to get me thru my TurboFire workouts and I don't really want to stop the workouts for 3 days. Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated!  :-)

90 Day Results

It's been 90 days since I started working out again. Here are the highlights of my stats. I have already met 77% of my goals that I wanted to hit by NOV 13th, my B-day! I'm at a new low of 206.4 lbs.  I have lost 25.1 lbs in the last 90 days and have lost a total of 10" off of my total body measurements. The biggest loss is from my waist which has been 2 1/2" and I have lost 3.4% total body fat. I have to say the whole caliper thing isn't the easiest to do. I never know if I'm doing it right. I would like to do whatever the procedure is that you do in water. I hear it is the most accurate. I have a scale that is supposed to tell you your body fat percentage and it never coincides with the caliper and fluctuates alot. This was a tough month since I went on vacation for 2 weeks and gained 6 1/2 lbs on vacation! I lost it and still ended up losing 5 1/2 lbs since last month. I feel GREAT and am loving TurboFire! I started back with TurboJam and now have been doing TF for 3 weeks. I promise to keep on pressin' play!  :-)              

VACATION!

Ok everyone, I'm off on vacation tomorrow early morning. I will talk to you when I get back. Just a quick note though, I have lost 5 lbs over the past 2 weeks and now have a total weight loss of 24.5 lbs! I'm 8 lbs away from my initial goal which I wanted to hit by Nov 13th. I think I will hit it way before schedule! Woohoo!!!   :-)  It's all thanks to Turbo Jam and now TurboFire. Thank-you Chalene!!! Now I have to be extra good on vacation so I don't lose too much ground. UGH!    :-)           Bill

2nd week of TurboFire and I'm feelin' the Fiyah!!!

It's the 2nd week of doing TF and I'm FEELIN' the fire! LITERALLY!!! EWWW OWWW!!!  :-)  LOL! What is that saying? Oh yeah, "pain is just weakness leaving the body". I never knew just how much weakness I had!  :-)   Seriously though, I'm LOVING the program. It pushes me more than I knew I could go. I love the music and Chalene's way of knowing just what to say at the right time to keep you moving and fighting thru it. It really brings on the sweat! I'm down 2 more lbs at a new low of 210 lbs. I just can't wait to get back to those 100's!

I have "officially" started!

Ok,                                                                                                                               I have "officially" started Turbofire as of yesterday. We practiced the moves for a little over a week in the "new to class" setting to get used to the new moves that are different from TurboJam and to get "up to speed".....LITERALLY!!!   :-)   This workout is much faster and more intense than TurboJam was. So the official start at regular class was yesterday, 7/2/10. I took my measurements prior to starting. I'm happy to report that at the end of my 2nd month of being back to an exercise routine, I have lost another 5 lbs over this month for a total loss of 19.5 lbs in 2 months. I have 13 more to go by Nov 13th to hit my 1st goal. At this rate and now with starting this TF program, I think I may just hit my goal early! That would be awesome! I still have about 35 more lbs or so to go after that but I'm taking it in realistic attainable increments. My 1st goal was to lose 31.5 lbs in 6 months by my 42nd b'day. I'm already 2/3rds of the way there in just 2 months!
