Does the workout have to kill me every time?

The answer is no!  Variation in workouts is key to success!  If you do the same workout and if it is the same high intensity EVERY time, you run the risk of suffering an overtraining injury as well as not introducing your body to other types of fitness routines that are beneficial.

 

MIX IT UP!  or crosstrain as we like to call it!  High intensity one day, long cardio another, throw in that yoga or pilates and make sure that you strength train!  You will see more results when you are consistent with your workouts (6 days a week), but each workout is something different that your body is not used to.  That is part of the reason that I love the various programs offered through BB, there is something new and different waiting for you to challenge you and bring success your way! Work at your own intensity, drink plenty of water and have fun!
