Pump and Shred Day

Just finished Pump and Shred, week 5 of Les Mills Pump.  This is by far my favorite workout ever.  So blessed to even be able to do this workout.  Staying fit and eating healthy is what life is all about.  Takes a little extra time to plan meals and pencil in your workout but man is it worth it.  I have more energy than I've ever had and feel better than ever.  Exercise is the fountain of youth and a miracle for me.  I have aches in my left shoulder, arthritis in my knees and had a ruptured disk (L5) in my back in 2004.  Had surgery and am feeling great.  I have to modify different exercises but I move and that's all that matters.  If I can do it, no one has an excuse.  So get off the couch, put those chips away and get moving.  Time is ticking............

Windy Day in MT

Hope everyone's day is going well.  It is a windy day here in MT, gusts are up to 50 MPH from what I am told.  I do not like the wind at all.  I know there is a reason for it but not sure what that is.  I have had a good morning staying on track.  Got up and made my men some breakfast to get their day going.  After that did my devotions then it was off to workout.  Completed 10 Min. Trainer by Tony Horton to include cardio and abs.  Will get the last one done this evening with Yoga X.  I love 10 min.Trainer.  It's quick but intense.  Attended my class today and now it's time to tackle that to do list.  Eating is on track.  Had a P90X protein bar for breakfast.  Mid morning meal was steel cut oats with pecans and strawberries.  Next meal is going to be of course chocolate Shakeology with a scoop of PB2 and a scoop of vanilla protein power.  For dinner am having shrimp scampi over whole wheat noodles with broiled asparagus.  So good day for nutrition.  Hope everyone has a wonderful day and sticks to their healthy eating and ensure you get that workout done.  Blessings to all!

Friday Oct 28, 2011

I can't believe the year is almost over.  So happy to be where I am right now.  Going to school full time and pursuing a career helping others.  I love Team Beachbody and their willingness to help others make positive changes in their lives.  I am doing so well eating healthy and working out consistently.  Those two things give me the energy to get through each day and to progress into the person I hope to be, ALWAYS IMPROVING AND NOT LOOKING BACK!  Let me know if I can help motivate you....make your dreams come true, just take that step.

7/9/11

Have been consistently working out and eating healthy which is progress.  I have 15 lbs to lose.  I gained about 7 after the spring semester of school ended.  Not sure what happened there but I let things go.  I have to really work on getting a workout in when school starts for the fall semester.  I have to make that commitment.  Hasn't been easy but it's doable.  Getting into the swing of school and loving it.  Will try to post more regularly.

Insanity...Jun 9

Hey all, well I had to stop Insanity, I was just not recovering after the first week, knees were killing me and so was my back.  I modified as much as possible but don't think I can do Insanity.  I've been dabbling with Rev Abs...did Power Intervals the other night and loved it!  So going to probably look more into doing that.  Turbo Fire is still on the table as well for working out.  Still eating right but need to get those workouts in.  More to come but sorry to say had to shelve Insanity!!
