1st Day Back

Making my way back from the injury. I started my rehab last week and it's a killer! I never thought that something as simple as bending my big toe would ever hurt so much! LOL! But I move on...it feels good to be able to get some excercise.

 

I'm starting with Power 90 because I still can't do any of the cardio or Yoga moves of P90X.Being out for 7 weeks really shows, but like I said it feels good!

Torn Achilles Tendon!!

Just came back from the doctors office , and they confirmed that my achilles was torn completely!!!

I'm pissed. I still have about 25lbs to go to hit my goal. I'll have to find a way to workout using my legs. Gotta stay positive though and find a way...

Day 1, 2nd Round P90X

Just finished Day 1 of Rd 2! WOW! Feels good to get back into the swing of things...my elbow is flaring so I'm going to have to ice it. I might have to start icing before and after, I'm not going to let it hold me back any longer (4 weeks was enough).

Warrior Dash

I ran the Warrior Dash yesterday...IT WAS AWESOME!!! I haven't had that much fun in years.

It's a 5k with 12 obstacles spread throughout. I will definately be doing this again!

1st Round of P90X COMPLETED!!!!!

I finally finished! Today is my 90th day, Later in the day I'll take my results pictures. It feels so good to have completed this round. So many times in the past I've started and stop programs, but this time was different. Although I didn't "Push Play" everyday I stuck with it and made some great progress. In total I lost 24.5lbs and dropped my body fat % by 6% points. WOW. That motivates me to keep going.

I was so geeked up that I was going to start Rd 2 today, but I re-read the P90X book and Tony suggested taking a couple of weeks off in between rounds so, I will. Anyway i have a couple of bumps and bruises that could use the rest.

I won't be sitting around eating Bon Bons though, I'm running the Warrior Dash this coming Saturday, so I'll run all this week and do some type of Cardio next week to keep me active.

I FEEL GREAT!
