Torn Achilles Tendon!!

Just came back from the doctors office , and they confirmed that my achilles was torn completely!!!

I'm pissed. I still have about 25lbs to go to hit my goal. I'll have to find a way to workout using my legs. Gotta stay positive though and find a way...

I hope you heal quickly. For legs, you get some standard exercises- leg curls and leg extensions. Keep focus on the goals, diet hard, and do your best....

how in the tarnation did it get torn? i'm just wondering if there is a way for others out there to prevent such a thing b/c i have seen some operations and it doesn't look fun at all.
god speed and fast healing to u. stay positive like u say. that's the best medicine.

Thanks for the well wishes. I have a cast up to my knee, and can not really put any weight on it yet, in time it will heal.

I tore it playing basketball, doing nothing special. I was running to grab the ball before it went out of bounds, planted my foot and then pop!

I should have warmed up longer, because it happened at the beginning of the game.

Ugh So sorry to hear that! I hope all is good, just remember to eat well, and maybe do some workout that involve only your upper body will sitting? Stay positive!

Yes, hope you get better soon. Beachbody is doing some amazing things in the fitclubs we have going in Olympia to Tacoma Washington.

There is a lady who overcame her barrier by being confined in a wheelchair from MS. She did P90X w/shakeology so I am confident you will get through this n to your goal as well.
