Monticello, IN I have 3 boys, Hunter 7, Jaiden 5, & Alex 3, and a little girl Tori 1. I was in GREAT shape before I got pregnant the first time, had some complications and gained 50-60 lbs. I lost some at birth but that was it. The rest stayed with me. I got pregnant only 11 months later,and this time I was SOOOOO sick I gained nothing. I lost about 25 lbs total after birth. I was just starting to feel good I have 3 boys, Hunter 7, Jaiden 5, & Alex 3, and a little girl Tori 1. I was in GREAT shape before I got pregnant the first time, had some complications and gained 50-60 lbs. I lost some at birth but that was it. The rest stayed with me. I got pregnant only 11 months later,and this time I was SOOOOO sick I gained nothing. I lost about 25 lbs total after birth. I was just starting to feel good about myself again. Then 17 months later I got pregnant again. This time I gained 35-40. Then found beachbody and lost it all and then some. Then the same ol story again. Pregnant, weight gain, and again I lost it thanks To beachbody! Im back in my size 6. :) I love being a MOM and taking care of others. But I have realized that taking care of others, especially in the long run, means taking care of me. So I want to be in shape, & not be so tired that I can’t play with my kids. But more than that I want to teach my children that exercising and healthy eating are a good thing. I grew up in a family where exercise was nonexistent, and more than that it was embarrassing, it was just something you didn’t do, especially in front of others. I have vivid memories of my Mom sitting at the kitchen table reading the paper and eating chips, cookies, and other junk food. She had beriac surgery 2 years ago and lost a lot of weight, unfortunatly she gained it all back. I NEVER, NEVER, NEVER want to get to that point!

Well I am at day 30 and so far I have lost 15 lbs!!! And only a couple of inches. But I feel soooo much better. I alrady have more energy. I cant wait to see what the next 30 days bring.

Day ? Well i have lost track of the days, but I have also lost more than that! I have lost 10 inches!!! I started P90X and love it!!! I absolutly cant wait for the end of 12 weeks! BRING IT!
05-26-2009: I'm on week 3 of P90X and it is tough! But I am loving it. I have really cleaned up my eating and all but given up my beloved beer. I have one every couple of weeks, maybe. I got Joe-my husband to join in with me! That makes is so much easier to get up at 5:00 in the morning to do this! Together we can do this! My kids are also learning valuable lessons. They watch me work out and understand that it is important to exercise everyday. They are also learning about health foods. Even though they are still young, they understand that cheetos are bad and apples are good. I'm probably most excited about the life long lessons that I'm instilling in my children. And the fact that I'm going to look AWASOME in a bikini this summer is a really big bonus!
Well I havent updated this in a while, but here it goes. I am now an official P9X graduate! I have made amazing improvements, even though I didn't get into a bikini this summer, I continue to push play 6 days a week and eat healthy! There is always next summer. Lest see where to start. I have lost 17 inches, 25.5 lbs, and 12% body fat. Not too bad. One of the biggest things is that my family is now eatting healthier than ever. My children-who are now 4 1/2, 3, and 9 months- ask me "Mommy is ______ healthy?" That i awasome! They want to learn and eat healthy too. That doesnt mean that they dont still want their cookies and pudding, but they know that only a small amount and only sometimes. Our desert most nights now is applesause. Big change from pudding, brownies, muffins, pie, cake, etc. They also like showing of thier muscles like Mommy's. That makes me feel good.
I have just started round 2. Cant wait to see what Tony can do for me this time!
Well day 224. I have hit the 30lb mark! I have lost 30 lobs! I have only 6 more to go to hit my goal. I also recommited my commitment to my beachbody coach yesterday. Life has gotten in the way, but somethimes the path we take isnt the most direct, we get distracted and lose our way, but as long as we find another way we will make it to the end. I chose to take thw windy and scenic route for a whie, now I am back on the main trail. Im in in phase 2 of chelene extreme and i love it! Looking forward to the next 30 days and beyond!
