I was born in Texas, but raised in the great state of Idaho (home of the Boise State Broncos!) I grew up on a farm and was taught to work hard at everything I do. I graduated from Boise State University and am a police officer for a city of about 90,000. I needed to find something to keep up with the kids, and I found Mr. Tony Horton's P90X workouts. They are tough but worth it. I turn 40

I've always had a love for fitness. I began lifting weights in high school then continued it through college. However, after lifting for a few months, I'd stop gaining lean muscle and begin the "plateau" effect. I needed to do something different. I then started training for distance relays and 10k races. I started circuit training with weights and putting in a lot of miles (which took its toll on my joints). My race times also started to plateau and I lost interest. I knew there had to be something else out there that would combine the weights and cardio and hold my attention and interest. Like so many others, I saw the P90X info-mercial but didn't give it much thought. Then some of my co-workers were doing the P90X workouts and seemed to have more energy and soon were passing me up during our department's fitness tests. I decided to borrow a workout cd, and I was immediately hooked! I got connected with an awesome coach who in turn connected me with some very cool people at Team Beachbody. Now I have more energy than I had in college and absolutely love this program. The one main piece of advice I'd like to give, is you have to "bring it" every time, work hard and you WILL get results!
