Never, ever had a problem with weight until I hit menopause at 45. I'm now 51 and tired of not being myself. I don't know who's body I've acquired, but it's not mine and I don't want it anymore! Food is not as much of the problem for me, as is a sedentary lifestyle. I'm blessed with a great amount of free time and spend most of it waste-fully. (Sitting!!) March 2, 2006 Wow! End of the 2nd month and the amazing results are: a total of 10 pounds and 15 inches gone! My beachbody experience? It just keeps getting better and better. Now, I did get a little head cold the 2nd week in Feb and used that as an excuse to blow off that week. But, because Beachbody was still there after my little defugalty, I got right back on track. Still using all the tools and still finding them useful to keep me motivated and going. What's been most helpful this past month, is the message board (where I practically live) called 'Shall we jam?' Come on over and join us. You'll find support, good people and lots of laughs!! I'm looking forward to another month of getting slimmer and healthier with Beachbody. Will check in again in April with all new results!
Feb 3, 2006 Not gonna lie- Turbo Jam is no slacker program. I'm beginning my 2nd month with it and although I LOVE it, the speed of the movements is a daily hurdle for me. But, like Chalene says, go at your own pace. The GOAL is to keep up and finish the sets. So, I've taken that advice to heart and by sticking with it 6 days a week for 30 days, I've lost 7 lbs and 7 in. I already feel stronger, more balanced (when did I become such a klutz?) and here's a word I've haven't used in a long time- more poised. My posture is better, and I'm regaining flexibility. I don't wanna be a 'stove up' old lady! By using all the Beachbody tools available, I'm able to stay motivated and encouraged. WOWY, the diet plan, (and recording these daily), the message boards and the wonderful members gallery that provides so much inspiration. Between my determination and Beachbody support, I will have my own 'beach body' by summer! Will check back in for a Beachbody experience progress update at the end of February. Just keep pushing play!
