Growing up I was always on the chunky side, eating whatever, and only half active. Then I got married, had kids, and started my career. I started doing pilates after having kids and lost some weight, but still had the baby belly pouch, hips, and flat wide butt.
I am a Physical Therapist and would work out irregularly on various equipment or to various videos, but it would seem to get old and boring. So, I would once again quit working out, complain about how I looked once bathing suit season came again, and start a various workout over, repeating the vicious cycle. I would lose a little weight, but never looked toned and nice.
I had seen the P90X infomercial many times and thought it would be fun to do but never picked up that phone to call. One day I was with my husband at his martial arts studio for class and started talking to one of the owners. She showed me a before and after pic from only 2 wks after starting P90X. I was amazed, was it that great. Then I got to really researching more and found that the system was just perfect for me. It had a schedule of what workouts I do when and I did not have to repeat the same workout twice in 1 week, I was totally sold. I just needed that schedule laid out to tell me what I needed to do and when. I did it, and boy was I pumped. I have finished my first round and have to say, I just love the way I look. I have the V in my stomach and toned abs, I love my hips and butt. It's awesome, I find myself looking at my abs and butt all the time, even at work!
