Growing up in the Seattle area I was never an overweight child, I may have
even been considered skinny! After graduating from high school I decided to

I did it!! Finished P90x! IT was actually P105X for me!

What an amazing program. I wish I could afford to buy 20 copies to give out to people! The first week was tough. I had to literally push pause to call my coach a couple of times to get me through.(hello plyo.). But by the second week I couldn't believe how much stronger I was in all of the workouts. Somehow they all build on each other. It really is brilliant. I felt like when you watch a movie more than once or a tv series - how you pick things up every time that you may have missed the first go round. Every week I realized more and more how deliberate the program is. Its like you are really fine tuning your body. And WOW! Tony Horton. What a great motivator. He's just enough without being overboard. I really like his style.
So anyways, here I am at 170. Im going to do the P90 3/4 workouts until November when my goal is to be 165lbs. Im going to start P90X again in November to get me through the holiday months. I would like to be 155lbs. by Christmas, then we'll see. Im hoping having a Christmas goal will help me through the "tough months".
Well, to finish up - the plan really does work. you just have to "keep pushing play"!
And p.s. I look forward to Plyo. now!

Update
Im starting round 2 of P90X today!
I lost ,my 5lbs. in between rounds making it a total of 30lbs.!!!!!! I would like to lose 10 more by Christmas bringing me to 155lbs. I was 155lbs. when I got married & when I see the pics. I am happy!! My hubby's doing it too this time so we can motivate each other!

Update
Well, I made it through the first month of P90X. This time it felt a little long for me (the daily hour plus) with my son getting older it is harder to workout in our living room! He is so active! So I ordered Brazil Butt lift which is awesome (& takes less time) and started jogging - something I can do with Kai. My butt is WAY tighter!! I would highly recommend the program to anyone wanting to change the shape of your rear! I am now 157lbs. A 38 lb. loss so far. I have just finished week 1 of Chalene Extreme and really like it. My goal is to be 145 by the time I am done (mid May). That will be 50 lbs. in just under a year. ALL WITH BEACHBODY PROGRAMS & SHAKEOLOGY - and a little jogging, hill walking & calorie counting:)
