When I was 8 years old I entered the world of Gymnastics and instantly fell in love with it. I was such an active child that it abled me to get all of my energy out on top of learning discipline.

Shorty after I started I was diagnosed with a heart condition that could have altered my life completely. The doctors suggested medication that would eventually lead to me being an inactive child and not being able to do sports, which could then lead to personality changes and depression, or we could do surgery and fix the problem. I was raised in such an active lifestyle my parents didn't even want to risk my chances of not being able to do gymnastics anymore, so they did what they thought was best and scheduled surgery. I continued gymnastics throughout the process. 6 months after the 1st surgery I had another episode.. I was put on heart monitors and shortly after was suggested to have another surgery with a specialist in Dallas.

Since then I have been problem free.I continued to be an active child, stayed in gymnastics and I did it all the way though High School and competed at a National level. I then went on to getting a scholarship at Texas Woman's University where I competed with them for 2 years. I was always known as a workout junkie. On my days off I was always at a rec doing some kind of cardio or doing extra conditioning in the gym at practice to help better myself. I didn't have the worst eating habits but I didn't have the best either.

When I had back to back injuries in college I decided that gymnastics wasn't in my plans anymore. I think after I quit I got so caught up in the real world with working and school and paying bills that I just lost that motivation to work out and be on top of it everyday. I would go through spurts where I would find motivation but when I went to the gym it was always the same thing and I never saw results. Slowly the gym time faded and I was letting myself go. My eating habits were bad and I was hardly working out. I woke up one day and looked at myself in the mirror and was ashamed at who I had become. I wasn't happy, although I hid it, and I lacked motivation to do anything.

I saw on my friends facebook, who is now MY beachbody coach, all these posts about INSANITY. I was so curious and started asking questions. She went on and on about it and showed me her before and after picture and without hesitation I went online and purchased it with no doubt in my mind.

It has honestly been the best thing that has happened to me. I started Insanity June 13, 2011 and since then I have been hooked. I finished it 3 rounds and in Jan '12 I finished INSANITY: the ASYLUM.

This beachbody journey has been amazing. I changed my eating habits on top of my working out everyday and I instantly felt like a new person. Everything started fitting lose and I lost 10 lbs and 3 inches off my hips. I have completed 2 Tough Mudders and I just registered for a half marathon in November. My next plan is to run a full marathon. I'm motivated to do things I never thought I could do and I have INSANITY to thank, and also Kenley for introducing it to me. Now, here I am, a Beachbody coach. I would have never thought I would be saying that. I am honestly a happier person. I have energy, I wake up with a purpose, and my attitude on life has changed 180.

I want to help people find their motivation for life again, like I found motivation to live again. I want to help people get in shape for the long run and to love their bodies and themselves again. I want to be the best I can possibly be to motivate people to workout and eat right and know they can depend on me if they ever need anything! Those are my goals.. Now are you ready to order and start your Journey today? It's never too late.. what do you have to lose?! Join me, because a healthy life is a happy life!!
