We are a family taking on the p90x challenge together! I am 38 and have two sons that are joining me on this journey ages 17 and 14. We all ballroom dance and are training for our first competition this year. My oldest son also does Tae Kwon Do and my youngest son loves to play baseball.

I have struggled with Lupus since 2001. Over the years I have remained active as a ballroom dancer but have done little to no strength training or intense cardio training both because physically I wasn't up for it and I didn't want to cause more pain. In 2010 I found myself in a remission for the first time and eager to take advantage and become more active. My teen boys wanted to try P90X and I was really leary of trying such an aggressive program right out of the gate. On our family vacation over the holiday's I made the commitment to not only buy P90X but finish it. Over the 90 Days I focused on building my physical strength and endurance and this
April I finished my first round. I had very little strength when I started but comparing my final workout statistics to my week 1 workouts was amazing! I have really become a strong woman. I have started round two adding in additional cardio to help me slim down and being more focused on nutrition. I am using Shakeology to help me have a healthy day and have made a lot of little changes in my daily diet. During my journey I created a facebook group as I came across other P90X friends along the way. We are a great support group to keep eachother motivated and talk about issues. Through this group I was inspired to become a coach and continue to help others! Round two is underway and I would love to have join my team! We are a P90X family as my husband and boys are actively using the program as well. I feel healthier than ever and ready for another round!
