Hi everybody. My name is Andy, and I am 22 years old. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in mechanical engineering and currently work as a project manager in the energy industry. I began working out with P90X in December 2011 and haven't stopped since, with rotations of P90X2 and P90X.

I initially began my journey on the road to fitness because I noticed that my lifestyle habits were taking a toll on my body. Excessive alcohol intake and consumption of highly processed, nutrient deficient foods was causing what little muscle I had to be replaced with a gross-looking pudge.

One of my friends had attempted P90X but stopped short due to a lack of motivation to push through the difficult workouts. He asked me if I wanted to try the program with him so that we could keep each other accountable. At first, I refused because I did not want to put forth the effort it would require, but after a couple of weeks, my friend ended up convincing me to give it a shot.

Before long, my body and mind had adapted to the extreme workouts. I cannot imagine life without fitness after about a year of being in amazing shape. Not only am I stronger, faster, and healthier. I also notice that I have a much higher energy level, more positive outlook on life, and significantly lower stress level. I guess you could say I owe this friend a great deal for greatly changing my life and pushing me onto the path of a healthy and happy lifestyle.
