Discovering Beachbody has been my answer to being able to get fit and help me reach my fitness goals. Plus, by being a Team Beachbody Coach, I have a new passion to help others reach their fitness goals and the lifestyle they deserve! I am surprised at how dedicated I was when doing my Slim In 6 Program. It was my first Beachbody program & I loved it! I have never been so dedicated to working out before, but when it said "6 times a week for 6 weeks" I was going to dive right in and do it! I would even sneak an extra day in! In the 6 week period, I worked out every day except for 2--which were Sundays. I actually looked forward to working out! My eating habits even changed. I didn't snack as much as I used to. My goal was to tone my abs and lower body, and to my amazement--I did!! My body did actually change and I feel better about myself. That, I think is very rewarding! I am proud that I was so focused and dedicated to reaching my goals, that I will continue to keep fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle with my family. It was the 3rd week in, and my husband John said, "Wow, I can really tell you have been working out, your face is thinner and you look slimmer!" I thought, Wow you can tell already?? I thought maybe I could see changes myself, but didn't know if it was wishful thinking on my part, but when he mentioned it--I guess I was right! It was then about week 5 and a couple people from church complimented me on how I looked and asked if I was working out? I thought WOW-if other people, who didn't know what I was doing, noticed changes-it must be noticeable and really be working. John is always complimenting me on my dedication and how good I look. It makes me love him even more!! That really does make me feel good and that people who truly care about me notice the little things. My self-confidence has grown and I do physically feel better. Now on to a new program! I purchased Shaun T's Fit Kids Club because I think it is really neat that there is a program for young people. It shows kids getting fit and having fun doing it! Who better to teach health and fitness to, than children especially MY children. If they learn now, when they are young, how to get fit and be healthy, I guarantee it will help them when they are older. I myself feel I have more energy now since I have started Beachbody. I do look forward to working out everyday and if I don't, I feel a little guilty! I think health and fitness has become a major factor in my life now and I have Beachbody to thank! I am truly excited now to help others reach their goals and their lifestyle dreams...because if I can do it...you can do it!! (Update: June 24, 2008) I have been doing P90X now for 7 weeks...6 more to go!! I am really enjoying the program & recommend it to anyone! I feel stronger already! (Update: August 2008) I completed P90X!! I really enjoyed the workouts and still highly recommend this program to anyone. I am now starting 10-Minute Trainer. I will let you know how this one goes in a few weeks! (Update: September 2008) I have done 10 Minute Trainer now for 6 weeks! What a great program for people with busy schedules! It really IS a great workout in just 10 Minutes! (Update: July 2009) I have just started ChaLEAN Extreme...I LOVE this program!! Can't wait to see my results in 90 days!! (Update: October 2009) I just completed ChaLEAN Extreme...WOW! I am leaner and there is more definition in my arms and abs!! I would say I am in the best shape of my life!
