I want to be there to see my kids grow up, and want to grow old with my wife. I played a lot of sports growing up and even joined the Army after high school, so being in shape was something I never really had to worry about. But after college and a few years of marriage I really let myself go. And believe me I just got off the scale and weigh 266lbs!! So now I am worried about future health problems. Looking great is one thing, but being healthy is most important to me.And I owe that much to my family. I dont want my kids to grow up without their father or my wife to be alone. But to be perfectly honest I don't really enjoy working out anymore because it hurts. And I dont mean muscle soreness, It hurts my shoulders, back, and knees to the point you cant enjoy the workout or push yourself to get good results. But Power 90 seems different in the way that I'll strengthen my whole body with this workout, instead of the typical chest and bicep workouts I did in the gym. I'm looking forward to the challenge of transforming my body, getting healthy, and participating in my family's healthy active life style. So it begins...

On July 9,2007 I completed my Power 90 journey and it has been one of the greatest experiences of my life. But before you know where I'm going you have to know where I've been. Let's back up the clock just 90 short days to April 9th, at 266 pounds and 33% body fat, I was on the road to self destruction. Ninety days did not only represent my journey to end my struggle with being over weight but represented something more important, the birth of my daughter. I knew that if I did not change my unhealthy lifestyle there was a good chance I wouldn't be around to watch them grow. As a father of two and a husband to a wonderful wife, it is my responsibility as a man to keep myself healthy to help provide for and protect them. I knew I had to make some serious changes and that's where Power 90 comes into play. I have to admit when I started I never really thought that I would finish. Looking at all of the success stories and seeing other people's progress I couldn't help but want to be them. But I can't, I can't be Tony Horton, or my coach Alli C. I can only be me and as easy as it is to admire other people's accomplishments, I had to do this on my own through hard work, discipline, and dedication. Because if there was one thing about me when it came to working out, the two words that were never put together were hard and work. Unless it was that's too hard or I really don't want to work to get in shape. But that is what is so great about the MillionDollarBody family, it doesn't matter what your fitness level is, people from all walks of life and fitness levels pull together to help one another through one of the toughest lifestyle changes you will ever make. So I know now I never did it on my own, I had a ton of support from my coaches Gil and Alli C., whom were there every step of the way to answer all my questions and my wife who always supported my decision to work out and never complained even when I did. And I am very happy to say seeing my results, after she has healed from the birth of our daughter, she has decided to take on the challenge of Power 90 to improve her fitness level and health. Looking back on all of the time and money I wasted on gym memberships is almost embarrassing. P90 is the most efficient and effective workout that I have ever done. If I were to actually go to a gym, (like that was ever gonna happen), it would take 2-3 hours by the time I drive, workout, and return home. In 1 hour I can completely blast my body and here's the good part, spend time with my family doing it. I am very proud to say I have made a lifestyle change, and look forward to sharing what I have learned with my wife and daughters so we can all lead happy, healthy lives. As of day 90, I lost 34 ponds, 6.5 inches off my waist, 5 inches off my hips, and my body fat went from 33% to 24%. But as proud as I am of that, I know I'm not where I need to be. That is why I will continue to push play until I meet my goal of under 215 pounds and my body fat is 12-15%. And with that said I have decided to take on P90X to get in the best shape of my life, the only difference this time I KNOW I can and will finish, accomplishing a fitness level I could only dream of in the past.
