Rocklin, CA My name is Jessica. I have been married for three years, and we have two children together. My main goals regarding fitness are typical - to lose the weight and get into shape - not only for myself, but for my future. I am planning on joining the Army, and I need to be geared up and ready to go for basic training. So in addition to eating right, I am also doing P90x, Insanity, and I joined a local My name is Jessica. I have been married for three years, and we have two children together. My main goals regarding fitness are typical - to lose the weight and get into shape - not only for myself, but for my future. I am planning on joining the Army, and I need to be geared up and ready to go for basic training. So in addition to eating right, I am also doing P90x, Insanity, and I joined a local workout group called Basic Training. I go to Basic Training twice a week, and I incorporate a P90x or Insanity session wherever I can, schedule permitting. I plan to lose the weight and maintain it, as I am planning on making the Army my career. Since my husband does not share the same fitness goals as I do (at least not at this time), I am doing most of my exercising either alone or with my dad, who is an Air Force - and P90x - veteran!

In January 2010, I weighed in at 250. At 5'7", this was unacceptable! I quit drinking soda and other sugary drinks, as well as eating sugary foods. Since July, I have been working out at least twice a week with a local workout group called Basic Training, as well as integrating elements of P90x and Insanity when schedule allows. As of 11/01/10, I have lost 45 pounds, bringing me down to 205. My ultimate goal is to get down to 170 at a maximum so that I can join the US Military. Bring it!
