So...my wife. Best person in the world. Best thing to ever happen to me...we got married 9-23-2006. She is far, far more active them me. Ive never been athletic, 2 left feet, and never really worked out. In college I was thin...about 125 lbs. Now I am 245 lbs. Not good...nope not at all. I have high blood pressure, an anxiety disorder, and sleep apnea. I want to be there for my wife, for years and years to come. I am fast approaching 35 and I need to make some changes.

Im BAD at sticking to things like this. But I really ,really want to do this...I NEED to do this! So my wife and I set a goal for me. The two of us play paintball. I wanted to get a new marker (thats "paintball gun" in paintball talk)...its about $500 to $600. I said to her I need a carrot out there to keep my eye on while I am doing this...how about I stick with this for the 90 days, make this part of my routine, make the changes in my life to be in better shape...after that you can judge if I really stuck to it. IF I do...I can get the new marker. Thats what we agreed on.

Now let me say this...I am NOT doing this to get a new paintball marker. I am doing this because I need to change me, my life style, my body, my diet, my weight. The marker is just something to keep me going, a goal I can attain...a carrot on a stick. When these 90 days are over...I am not going back. Its not like reach the goal and then its over. The "goal" of 90 days is only the first steps in the forever change, a re-direction of where I was heading.
