I was a freshman in college and had literally gained the "freshman 15"! So I decided to start teaching aerobics the summer after my freshman year at a local YMCA. I soon began teaching 4-5 cardio More ...
I was a freshman in college and had literally gained the "freshman 15"! So I decided to start teaching aerobics the summer after my freshman year at a local YMCA. I soon began teaching 4-5 cardio classes a week, but my body just wasn't changing. About 3 months after beginning to teach sculpting classes such as Body Pump, I started noticing my clothes fitting looser. Shortly after, I measured my body fat percetage, and to my astonishment, it went from 22% body fat to 18% in a matter of 12-16 weeks! Weights work and I'm a strong believer...this led to my passion for fitness and also my degree and masters in Exercise science. I love fitness and it truely can transform your body! My friends asked if I had lost 20 lbs, truth was, only 12 but hey I went down 2 pant sizes and was very happy with my lean but muscular physique!
