March 10, 2005 - up to 146.8. I am a little down because I haven't been able to do Power 90. I injured myself doing it. I developed tennis elbow and patella femoral syndrome on my knee, and am in physical therapy. I have to take it very easy on the exercise.
January 29, 2005 - 144.8 pounds. Haven't lost much, but my inner cavewoman is trying to keep that layer of fat on me. Still doing P90 but don't know what day I am on. I feel so good!
December 11 - 146 pounds. Day 77 of Power 90 Round 2. Day 183 total since I started this healthy lifestyle. In 6 months I have shedded 20 pounds of fat. I am doing mostly Power Half Hour. I feel like I can control my own destiny now. For the first time in years, I have confidence that I can do something about the way I look and I feel like I am looking good for the first time in years.
November 22 - 145 pounds. Day 58 of Power 90 Round 2. I have also been mixing in Power Half Hour. I love eating vegan, I don't have to diet at all and I am losing weight! I feel healthy. Added extra vitamin B-12 to my regimen. I have been more consistent with working out.
October 23 - 148 pounds. Day 28 of Power 90 Round 2. I have been really slacking on the exercise, but great on the healthy vegan diet. I have trouble concentrating on two things. It seems like I do great on one thing of the other but not both. This week my goal is to be consistent with my workouts. I made myself a workout plan for the week to look at to help me.
October 2 update. 151 pounds! 15 pounds down. I am one week into Round 2 of Power 90. I didn't miss one day! No slacking at all this time. Although I am mostly still doing Level 1/2, I know I can stick with that. I have decided that until I can get all the way through 1/2, I am not moving on to 3/4. I am back on the Slimming Formula and the Performance Formula, and am taking Hoodia as well, which is supposedly an appetite supressant.
August 25 update. Day 74 I am down to 155, 11 pounds down!
August 7 update. Almost 60 days! Almost 10 pounds lost! I thought the Slimming Formula was suppressing my appetite but that only happened for a few days. I have been getting a little slack on the workouts. I skipped a day this week, so I have to get more on top of things.
July 22 update. In my sixth week things are getting easier. I tried Sculpt 3/4. it was tough but a challenge. I started taking the Performance Formula and the Slimming Formula last week and really noticed a difference in my appetite.
June 13, 2004. I started Power 90 and using the diet guide today. I have tons of energy, and am feeling very proud of myself for sticking to the workouts
My weight has been a struggle ever since I quit smoking three years ago and put on 30 pounds. Last year I managed to lose 15 pounds by low carbing. I started with Atkins, then I made my way to Somersizing, which includes healthy carbs.
In December of 2003, I started taking care of my mother, who was very ill with leukemia. Don't get me wrong, it was one of the most rewarding experiences I have ever had. Mom and I got so close in those last few months. I had to quit my job. Taking care of my mom was very stressful. Because I was trying to get Mom to gain weight, I cooked fattening foods, lots of mashed potatoes with butter, and had cookies, cakes, and candy around. I ate all the junky food, and put the 15 pounds I had lost right back on in no time. Mom passed away on May 11, 2004. I went back to work, and found that I couldn’t fit into the gray dress pants I love to wear to work. That did it, I decided to lose this weight once and for all.
When I found Power 90 and Beachbody, I KNEW this was the one for me. I am 5 ft. 2 and was 166 pounds, wearing a TIGHT size 16 when I started this. The best thing about Power 90 so far is the amazing energy.
