Hello! If you find yourself reading this, then you are in the same spot I was once in, motivated, eager, weight loss in mind, getting fit in mind, heck you probably imagined a few after images(I did, if I remember correctly, a six pack was my first imagination). If you find yourself reading this, then you are in the same spot I was once in, motivated, eager, weight loss in mind, getting fit in mind, heck you probably imagined a few after images(I did, if I remember correctly, a six pack was my first imagination). My career as a software engineer, and my military background made me a logic thinker. Planning was something I was good at. Goal oriented to me was like predicting the future, where I knew that I couldn’t just start day one as soon as I opened the box. I knew that I had to prepare, I organized my responsibilities and ensured that I could set aside time to push play, cook my meal plan, pay my bills, and walk the dog. Moral of the story, I simply did not want to allow an “excuse” to skip a day.
Completed P90X as planned, got what I wanted but there was something else I didn’t expect. I built knowledge, the whole reason to follow the meal plan is to reach your fitness goal but to me it was like attending a college course to healthy cooking. Cooking all those meals made me understand how to feed your body. At the same time the whole reason to follow the workout plan is to slice the gut away and add nice cuts all over your body. But again, I learned more about muscle fibers and which exercise hits the spot. The list goes on… Then there were supplements, I’ll just end here because this topic is way too huge to talk about.
Now here I am, a fitness trainer, teaching private sessions, conducting group sessions, sharing my experience with whoever needs help. I have also been guiding people thru nutrition and supplements as well. I have decided to open a new door to becoming a coach which will be an addition to my fitness training. I just don’t know what it is exactly but I feel really good every time I succeed helping someone reach their goal.
