Most of my life, I have been reasonably fit and have never been overweight. My struggle, however, lies with not eating and drinking the healthy things I need as often as I should be. I have always had the attitude that "I can eat whatever I want because I'm not overweight and I stay active."

I have gone in and out of various workout programs and I do well with them, when I'm doing them. It has always been easy for me to let myself quit though and get back on a not-so-good track. I have come to learn that the best way for me to stick to a workout plan is to actually have the workout(s) I need to do each day written on a calendar which I can then check off after I have done them.

This not only provides a way to track what I'm doing and how I'm increasing my workouts and weights used, etc., but it also has given me a place to be accountable to myself for doing it. And it has been the best thing for me to do thus far.

I started using Shakeology on March 1, 2010 and wanted to just continue with the workouts I was doing for a month before starting the very intense P90X workout. I wanted to do this so I could see the changes and results I achieved by simply making that one change. It has given me such amazing results that I can't say enough how thrilled I am with it!

I eat better, have way fewer cravings for junk foods, and have almost completely stopped drinking Mt. Dew, which was my biggest challenge that I've been trying to conquer for a long time. It doesn't even taste good anymore. Also, I have so much more energy and endurance that I have not only been able to increase my weights 3 times since starting Shakeology, but I have also added running back into my workout regimen. And my regularity, which nobody really wants to talk about, has gotten on track, and that's something I never thought would happen.

I'm excited to get started with P90X and be able to see and talk about the changes that makes to my body and fitness level. I look forward to adding to my story as it progresses.
