Started P90X last year, in Feb 2011. I was on a good track, then hurt my back (not sure if it was actually from P90X or not). I stopped doing it for a while, tried to start back up and couldn't find the motivation. I continued to eat well for a few months after, and lost about 25 lbs.
For the rest of the year, I went off course, and gained much of my weight back.
On Jan 3, 2012, I started up P90X again hoping for a healthier beginning that will last a lifetime.
I became a P90X grad on April 8, 2012. I ended up taking a week off between work travel and being sick around the same time. All the other days though, I pushed play, watched what I ate, and gave it my all. I lost 40.6 pounds in one round and had to get rid of a lot of clothes and buy new ones.
After taking the week off, I decided to do Insanity starting April 13. I finished the program June 14. Dropped another 15 lbs, 15 inches, and 6% body fat.
I took 3 weeks off, watching what I was eating, and did some misc workouts here and there. I lost another 6 lbs.
On July 6, I started the P90X/Insanity hybrid. I am following the schedule on the Beachbody site. I am not as concerned about the weight loss anymore (though I would like to lose another 15 lbs or so), but more about toning and losing whatever fat is left.
I am currently down almost 87 lbs. Weight is not as much of an issue for me now. Now I want to tone up more, if I lose some more weight that will be fine.
