COACH SHERRY RUETER:
I am a 39-years-young Software Developer and Tester and a health and fitness enthusiast. I'm proof positive that it is possible to make lasting, positive life changes through health and fitness.

Early in life, at about 11yrs. old I started Jogging and working out with Denise Austin and Gilad on ESPN. At 16, while still working out, I was active with loading Semi's with Candy and Cookies, as well as worked in Packaging the Candy and Cookies at a Candy distributer. I was able to eat Junk and not worry about my wieght because of the physical Activity.

I gained at least the Freshman 15 during college and remember my weight of 135# - (Iam 5' tall ). I got married in 1993 and was blessed with 2 children in 1997 and 1999....and topped out at 175# This was the heaviest I'd ever been.

In 2000 I remember my father saying "You'll NEVER loose the love handles". I decided then and there that it was time to make a change - and take my life back! I started to eat healthier and workout with the resources I had, such as DVDs and the Elliptical. I made my new years resoltion to eat one Fruit or Vegtable each day into my diet and making sure I drank my water before I could have any "sweet treats". The next year I upped it to 2 fruits or Vegtables per day. This continued until I got to 7 a day. With these lifestyle changes, I was able to get down to about 110#.

In the Fall of 2008, I saw an infomercial for P90X one night and It made sense to me so I ordered it. Ordering P90X was the best thing I ever did. The system got me in shape, I increased my muscle mass and dropped my bodyfat to around 13%. I can see the muscles in my arms, back and legs....and I continue to work on the 6pack. It was tough and I wanted to quit somedays but, like Tony says, I just kept showing up and kept pushing play.

Getting involved with Beachbody has been just the most positive thing for me. Since then, I've done Insanity and P90X plus and Tony's One on Ones. I just keep Pushing Play every morning.

In 2010 I became a beachbody Coach! I can now help other people improve their overall health and reach their fitness goals - and I can't tell you how great that feels!

If I can do it, so can you!! Just keep showing up - and keep pushing play!!
