I am a full-time Office Assistant in the Psychology and Mathematics departments at Brandon University. I have a Business Administration Diploma with a Management Specialization. By 2012, I will have a Bachelor of Arts Honors Degree in English Literature. On top of work and school, I volunteer with a number of community organizations and each one of them owns a piece of my heart.

When I graduated highschool in 2002, I weighed 108lbs. I was drop dead gorgeous!

Two years later, when I graduated community college, I weighed 118lbs - perhaps, not drop dead, but still gorgeous!

Over the next three years, I struggled with my health. I experienced random weeks where I had no appetite, and, in fact, the thought of food entering my mouth made me nauseus. During my worst bout of this unexplained illness, I lost 10lbs in 5 days and I was scared to death! When these times of deep depression and illness ended, I took the opportunity to stuff my face with every food that I loved and couldn't stand the sight of when I was sick. After going through every test known to my doctor and endocrinologist we finally diagnosed me with a mild anxiety disorder, mild depression, and irritable bowel disorder. I have been on anxiety and depression medicaion for nearly 2 years now and haven't had a lengthy stomach illness since then.

While that is wonderful news, my loss and regain of appetite, led me to gain a total of 30lbs over those years when I stuggled with my health. When I tipped the scale at 148lbs, I decided I needed to make a significant change.

I've been working at it, counting calories, working out consistently and have dropped 10lbs so far.
While I never expect to reach my drop dead gorgeous 108lbs or my simply gorgeous 118lbs, I am fully confident that I can reach a beautiful 125lbs, lower my body fat, increase my flexibility, and feel 100 times healthier!
