I had always been super-fit. First as a gymnast up through my teen years, next as a martial artist through college,then just by going to the gym and working out. Then I had kids and no time for the gym. Bye-bye fitness; Hello fatigue! Fast forward 12 years: arthritis in my knee, back and neck. Wii Fit came into my life, slowly getting me back into exercising. I added some random exercise routines, including P90X YogaX, CardioX, and KenpoX. Soon after, I started doing taekwondo 3 days a week with my boys, but got lazy in the "off days" and skipped working out on those days. I was beginning to have more energy. I thought I was in great shape again. Then I decided to quit flirting with P90X and just Bring It! I wasn't in as good of shape as I thought. I couldn't get through most of the routines! I decided to commit to the classic program. Just 3 weeks into it the arthritis pain in my knee disappeared, my constant lower back pain was now rare, my chiropractor noticed that my spine held adjustments better, and I had more energy than ever! It took me 104 days because I had to take a 2 week break due to a back injury when I was 10 weeks into the program. I could do all of the routines, too, although I still modify a little bit on Plyo. I'm now stronger than ever with lots of energy. A manicurist told me I had the most ripped arms she'd ever worked on :)
