I was living the dream. Engaged to my high school sweet heart, graduated college, and scored my dream job which was 10 minutes from home! I soon learned that it was challenging working through tax time, studying to get my CPA, all while planning a wedding/reception.
Trying to juggle so many things, I let my health slip. 1.5 years later I was married and had my CPA, Hello, I'm Becky!
I was living the dream. Engaged to my high school sweet heart, graduated college, and scored my dream job which was 10 minutes from home! I soon learned that it was challenging working through tax time, studying to get my CPA, all while planning a wedding/reception.
Trying to juggle so many things, I let my health slip. 1.5 years later I was married and had my CPA, and an extra 20 lbs. One day I decided enough was enough, I couldn't keep gaining weight, I wanted to get back to my high school weight. I started on Shakeology and Turbo Fire, I soon realized that many others I knew were having the same difficulties as I was.
When life gets difficult it gets harder to make healthy choices, and it's easier to skip a workout. I wish someone would have been there at that time for me encouraging me not to give up and that I was worth it. If I could help just one other person realize that they are worth it, and not to give up on themselves - that would be enough.
We all have different reasons for wanting to reach that healthy life style, remind yourself of that reason on the days when you're feeling down and you'll be sure to stick with it!

It was a combination effort for me to decide to make the change.
1. I watched my boss become healthly after 2 years, I watched my health decrease due to "me" taking a back seat to my career advancement.
2. I see moms with multiple children more healthier than me, I don't have kids what's my excuse for not being in shape?
3. Looking back through emails I swore I was going to exercise an hour a day after tax season. If that was the case I should be in awesome shape it's August by now!
