I saw the Beach body commercial for slim in 6 after working out with fittv for about a month. I needed to start doing something because my wieght was sky rocketing and my doctor said "Do you realize that you are getting fat and are alot heavier than you should be for your size?"

Oh My Goodness!!! I wanted to strangle her when she said that to me. But when I went home that night in April and lay in bed I realized that she was absoulutely right!! I was 142lbs more than 30lbs over what I weighed at the same time the year before.

So I worked with fittv for about a month then I saw the slim in 6 infomercial. I was a little sceptical since I had ordered the firm liked it for ... a hot second then decided to quit. But something about the slim in 6 infomercial was special... I saw Beachbody. I thought hmm... are those the same guys that did power 90? I went to the website and sure enough it was them!!!! So I placed the order set up my page started a thread and made lots a friends in chat.

These people were unbelievably supportive. So I was prepared when my package came. So finally my package came June 3rd 2004. I took my goodbye aka before pics and started the program that night. It was great!! I lost 6 inches, 6lbs, and 1.3% body fat in just 6 weeks. I was on cloud nine a size 6 with no worries. So I stopped working out...

Big mistake!!! Although I didn't gain any of the lbs back I did gain alot of the inches back. I had to go back to wearing my old fat clothes. I wasn't talking with my buddies in chat, I wasn't reading the boards, I wasn't doing anything that I was so proud of myself for doing ... including creating a more active lifestyle for myself and my daughter.

I had been eyeing my power 90 ... the copy that I was going to start right after I finished slim in 6 (what a joke that was). So I took the plunge and on November 15th 2004 I took the plunge. I put up my power 90 calendar. I took my goodbye again aka before pics. I started a new thread on the boards and posted my pics. I headed to chat and have not looked back. I have less than 2 weeks left of power 90 and I am have already lost 9 inches and 5lbs (gotta eat better). I am heading over to P90X, the next level and I'm not looking back this time.

I have tied myself down and I have thrown away the key. BeachBody is not about programs its about progress. Continual fitness and continual progress in the health arena. That's what I didn't know when I finished slim in 6 but I know it now. I'm gonna keep crushing it daily with Tony and my pals over in the bb chat room and on the bb message boards!
