Merriam, KS Hey everyone, I am about to tell a little about myself so that you all can understand a little about this program. I am a deployed Marine in Afghanistan, for the time being, I have been doing P90X for some time now, that along with Insanity. These programs are legit, I prefer P90X over insanity just because of the pace it goes at. Insanity is a more "hyper" program, meaning, it is a Hey everyone, I am about to tell a little about myself so that you all can understand a little about this program. I am a deployed Marine in Afghanistan, for the time being, I have been doing P90X for some time now, that along with Insanity. These programs are legit, I prefer P90X over insanity just because of the pace it goes at. Insanity is a more "hyper" program, meaning, it is a faster pace, always moving and not much time to understand the workout you are about to do. Although, P90X you need equipment, not much, but you still need it, ie: Dumbbells or resistence bands (I prefer the dumbbells), Pull up bar or even that can be substituted with the resistence bands (I prefer the pull up bar), and there are little items that you do not necessarily need, but as you improve you could put them to good use, ie: Yoga blocks. The workouts are not bad, being a Marine I know a lot about different types of workouts, and I gotta say that these workouts made me hurt, but in a good way. Tony Horton, the instructor and creator of P90X, says the hardest part of the workout is showing up... How true! You have to stay motivated, and thats the hardest part, that is why it is better to go in it with a friend, family member or a co-worker, it is only at most an hour and a half a day. I know when I started this I felt the best I have felt in my life, you can feel your muscles growing, feel them being worked like they never have, and you can actually see the changes quicker than anything I have encountered.
