Montreal, QC Hello, the name is Mike I am from Poland, I was born there but currently live in Montreal, Canada. I am new to the Beachbody community but let me tell you how I got here.
First of all, I love sports and used to be quite a sporty guy back in High school. I was in the school's basket-ball team and was always doing sports or working out at the gym (4-5 times a week). In those times I was Hello, the name is Mike I am from Poland, I was born there but currently live in Montreal, Canada. I am new to the Beachbody community but let me tell you how I got here.
First of all, I love sports and used to be quite a sporty guy back in High school. I was in the school's basket-ball team and was always doing sports or working out at the gym (4-5 times a week). In those times I was 5"11 and weighted between 175-185 max. The good times :)
Then came college and of course having less time, I cut off the sports but still went to the gym (2-3 times a week). The workouts were not regular as sometimes my partner couldn't go and so on, so motivation went downhill over the years. Then my buddies just stopped working out and I was the only one going to the gym. Well motivation hit the bottom.
Couple years later I started a new job and during the training I met a guy, who... knew a guy... (don't you love those type of stories). But this one is actually worth it. So my new met friend was in shape and was hitting the gym 3-4 times a week still. Talking about workouts and all he told me he had a "fat" friend who was currently doing a crazy workout. He said he was always making fun of his friend and always told him to drag his butt to the gym and stop "dancing" in front of the TV. So his "fat" friend told him he bets he can't do one of the workouts he is doing even tough he is in shape. My buddy accepted the challenge and couple days later was starring at the TV with P90X in the DVD. He did one of the workouts and of course even if he was in great shape he couldn't pull it out perfectly and finished with all his shirt in sweat and admitted it was the most intensive workout he has ever done.
So he told me this little story and of course my curiosity level raised by a 1000%! Workout at home! No need for gym partners! Couple weeks later I had P90X in my dvd player and I was pushing play.
Then I had a work accident, I injured my ankle, ending up with torn/ripped ligament and all that good stuff. I was in phase 2 of P90X. Of course I had to stop. But I knew this workout was one of the greatest things ever created.
Here I am now with my ankle at 90% recovery and I'm starting a bit smoother with Power 90 before I get to the X again! But I can't wait! It's like I'm awaiting a reward! And after X it will be Insanity!
So here I am signed up and ready to change my life for the best! I'm slowly getting my girlfriend to be part of this as it's so much better with someone.
I did the 6 Day diet from the Power 90 program and it helped me in those 6 days to adapt a healthier lifestyle/eating.
Currently at 230 lbs and 6" I am aiming to lose the extra pounds and tone my body up. Then gain some lean mass and cut it!

- Small update!
P90/P90ms done! 90 days of working out completed! Feels so damn good to start and finish something! On top of that Inow hang around 212-214 lbs! Sp we could safely say 15-18 lbs gone! Thanks P90!

02/16/11 So today is Kenpo X, we love it. It' like the reward at the end of the week. For some reason this is the workout I have the most energy in. Even on break times I am still jumping, energy pumped like More ... 02/03/11 So this week was quite interesting. Beside the fact everything right now hurts, there was food issues, going to the bathroom issues and more!
