First it was P90X, then came P90X2, now it's INSANITY... I've always been pretty healthy and active. I grew up playing softball, volleyball, swimming and running. About 2 years ago I wanted more of a challenging workout so I got P90X. It took me some time, but once I got comfortable with the moves I've really enjoyed it. So much so, that I've done it 3 times! About 2 years ago I got P90X, and after completing it 3 times -absolutely loved it! I was in the best shape of my life, but felt like I "peaked", so my beachbody coach told me about P90X2. Honestly, I didn't even know there was a P90X2 and was very intimidated to even try it. But, after some convincing from my coach, I got it and hit the ground running. I LOVE P90X2 way more than the first one and now I've completed P90X2 twice. Yet, for my new year's resolution this year, was to gain more lung endurance, so now I'm on to Insanity! Now I am a graduate of P90X, P90X2 and INSANITY! I love Insanity just as much as P90X & P90X2 -if not more, and have completed it 3 times :)
I've never been one of those girls who just wants to lose weight. I've always been pretty active & healthy, but I came to a point in my life with graduate school & work that I was getting stressed out a lot more & just really needed an outlet. P90X was that for me. Furthermore, it helped improve my health in all aspects: flexibility, strength, cardio, etc... I like the fact that P90X, P90X2, & Insanity are very versatile & have helped me improve all areas of my health & fitness levels. I like that every workout is different -it keeps things interesting & less boring.
From when I started my beachbody journey, I have seen huge improvements with my flexible, strength, core, energy levels & my lung endurance. I love the fact that my muscles feel tighter & I have the mental state of "Wow, I'm skinny" & that "I can do anything." Yes, I still have some rough workout days, & even to this day I can't do every move & rep absolutely perfectly, but it's about making the program work for you & doing you're best.
Overall, all my fitness goals of strength & flexibility were accomplished with P90X, P90X2, & Insanity. Between those programs I now feel stronger, more fit, toned, flexible, and skinny -everything I want. I will greatly recommend any Beachbody program to anyone. "Bring It" & "Dig Deeper!" :)
