I am a stay at home mama of 2 wonderful yet very active little boys ages 4 and 2 1/2. My husband is a former Army solider and we spent 2 years in Germany with his company before a hummer accident caused him to have to leave on a medical discharge. I've been married for 8 years now and we have lived in 6 states and across seas, but I think we have finally found our home now in Georgia.

Growing up I was always EXTREMELY active. I was a cheerleader, on drill team, track, cross country, softball. I even professionally trained horses, and was training to be in the 1996 Olympics before my sponsor dropped out. It wasn't until I was with my ex-fiance that I started to gain all this weight. Our relationship was very violent, and for comfort I turned to alcohol and food.
Finally I broke it off with him and stopped the drinking and food binging; and ended up meeting my husband.
We met online, a month later met in person, got engaged and got married. At that point I was close to 200lbs. (I had gained 60lbs during the 5 1/2 years that I was with my ex). After we married I worked very hard and ended up down to 180lbs within 4 months.
But I had a hard time when I first got married remembering to take my birth control pills so, by the time that I had lost my first 20lbs, my doctor put me on the Depo-Provera birth control shot. The doctor had told me about the weight gain that "could" come with it. Little did I know that I would be that .00009% of women who gain weight, a lot of weight. In 2 1/2 years I gained over 100lbs. Which shot my weight up to 280ish lbs, I know at one point I was just about, if not, 300 lbs. It took my body 6 months to get the shot out of my system after I got the last one, and I did lose 60lbs in a month doing extensive cardio ( I would walk 10 miles a day at the track that was on base) and strictly following Weight Watchers. But I also got pregnant with my first son that month, and nine months after he was born I was pregnant again. So now I still have the weight from the shot, along with some baby weight.
As I had stated previously I am a stay at home mom, and I live with family right now so instead of having just my two boys, there are now a total of 4 and finding the time to get this weight off is just close to impossible. And trying to eat right while living with others has been a true challenge too, but I totally feel that with the program that I have through this and all of the support through this site and family that I can now FINALLY drop all of this unwanted weight and be the woman that God has created me to be.
