I am from New Orleans ,LA and self employed,two wonderful children. I am married to a great guy who supports everything I do including my weight loss and workouts. I have struggeld with a weight problem for about 15 yrs now I taught aerobics for years and always ran and loved outdoor sports, bike riding , running etc. I made a carrer change in 1998 and it was a manager position and I spent a lot of time at the desk. WEll I did not notice the 10-12 pound weight gain each year because I gain weight evenly and over 9 years I gained 5 sizes. I am wearing a size 14-16 now. I never dreamed I would be the weight I am now-- as of this morning. I am to ashamed to post it.. I cant believe it myself. Anyway I did not recognize the person in the mirror and my body is suffering from carrying this added weight way to long. I need to take it off now if I am going to ever take it off! So here goes. I know I need a group to help me and I am the personality type that needs a little healthy competition and this seems to be the program that will work. Listen to this I did try WEight Watchers and lost 17 lbs. but stopped after 3 weeks, then LA Weight Loss , only lost 8 lbs. and stopped, and tried Adkins, and many others just like the rest of us.. but to top this I opened a Ladies Only Gym in 2003! Helped a lot of women get fit and take off the pounds and I gained 13 ! WEll, after Katrina the business was booming but I had to relocate with my other business and obvious other reasons. Although the gym survived Katrina my home was damaged and the living conditions in the area were to much to bare.So I sold the gym and moved a few hours from New Orleans . I decided to only operate one business and not be the work-aholic that I am and to concentrate on my one company and my health. I had used BEach Body videos in my gym , Power 90 and a few others and decided that my gym members liked them so much that I would try them myself . I started with Slim n 6 and today is my first day.. i need everyones support. First I am starting out with being honest with myself , how much I weigh and how I eat.. so here we go! ...
