Hello everyone. I live with my husband in south Florida where we are semi-retired. We are originally from Tennessee where our grown son and daughter live. Our daughter is married and has 3 little boys all under 4 years. I go back to Tennessee quite often to see them and help my daughter. I never really had any weight problems until I reached 50. Then I gradually gained about 35 pounds more than my Hello everyone. I live with my husband in south Florida where we are semi-retired. I go back to Tennessee quite often to see them and help my daughter. I never really had any weight problems until I reached 50. Then I gradually gained about 35 pounds more than my usual weight over a 5 year period. At one point during that period I started walking about 4 miles almost every day and eating fewer calories. I had somewhat success but before I reached my goal, I fell back to my old ways and started the gradual weight gain again. I started feeling old.... My joints ached, my feet swelled and hurt,I had back problems, I had acid reflux problems, and I had high cholesterol. I also had thyroid problems and had to have half of my thyroid removed in 2005. Now I have to take thyroid hormone replacement. I was having to take prescriptions for all my problems, but my doctors never stressed enough that my health problems might be over if I exercised and ate a better diet. They would mention losing weight, but I needed more information, a support system and a plan. I became so tired of feeling bad and having no energy and of looking at myself in the mirror. Then I started noticing how much my over-weight son-in-law had changed each time I went to visit them in Tennessee. He lost over 80 pounds in less than a year by using the Beach Body Supplements and doing the Beach Body workouts and eating right. When he began to lose the weight I saw what he ate and what he was doing. The food was great, and I decided I could do it too. My mother had type 2 diabetes for several years before she died of a stroke. My dad died from a stroke caused from high cholesterol. Two of my siblings have already died too young, one from a heart attack and one from cancer. I knew I would be headed for the same fate if I did not do something to turn around what was happening to my body. At my age I need supplements to my diet, especially calcium plus magnesium, joint support and omega 3. Slimming Formula is also helping with weight loss. I wish I had been more conscious of getting healthier long ago. I look better and feel better, and my blood work shows positive results too. If I can do this, anyone can do it. If you always thought that someday I will do something to get healthy and feel better, why not now? The first thing one must do is commit to being healthy as he or she can be and start doing what it takes to get healthy & fit. It may surprise you how easy and fun it can be, not to mention the rewards. No one is too old or too fat to start. Hearing and seeing other peoples' success stories about good health is also rewarding and very touching to me.

The end of 2007, I started the Slim In Six workout program and taking the Beach Body Supplements and eating better. During the holidays I actually lost weight and inches.When my newest grandson was born in February, I went to Tennessee to help out. I was too busy to get workouts done every day, but I actually kept on losing inches and weight slowly. When I came home from Tennessee in March, I started Slim In Six, Ramp It Up again, to work up to Burn It Up again. I have had chronic back pain and also a torn meniscus in my left knee for many years. Doing Slim In Six did not hurt me, but it is making my knees better. I am stronger and do not experience much pain anymore. I am hoping to never need to go to an expensive orthopedic doctor or have to do orthopedic therapy again. Since starting Slim In Six, Burn It Up, I am seeing results faster. I still struggle with Burn It Up, but I am getting better and I will keep trying. I would like to lose 10 more pounds. After losing some weight, eating right and exercising regularly, and taking supplements, I no longer have to take some of the prescriptions I was taking. My blood work readings this year, June 2008, showed my cholesterol dropped 40 points. In July, 2008, I had to have major surgery and could not workout for 6 weeks. I gained some weight back and had to start all over again. At my yearly physical in September, 2008, my doctor told me to continue what I had been doing and cut the cholesterol meds to half, and if my cholesterol levels are still good in 3 months it will be okay for me to stop taking that prescription. After going through surgery, traveling, and being sick with a virus, I am finally able to get back to a workout routine again. Nothing should stop me now from reaching my good health goals. I am doing the Slim in 6 workouts again because it is good for the whole body and it works. I hope my statistics will be better than they were when I did Slim in Six previously.
