Over the last 20 years I've been doing karate,running bleachers,jogging, lunges, tae bo,lots of activities. Then I discovered Chalenes Turbo Jam and I fell in love with it!!! Moves that I used in the past but with a routine and music!!! I've never been overweight, but after 2 months of turbo I lost an inch of my stomach, fanny and waist and an inch and a half off each thigh!!! I was hooked! That was May 2006. A tumor was discovered on my spine and I had surgery April 2008-could not exercise for 18 months per my physician. I was so upset! During recooperation time, I still wore my workout clothes, and WATCHED my dvds for the next 2 weeks, then started stepping side to side ...THAT was hard to do! It was so hard not to get depressed about the lack of movement,but I just kept praying and doing SOME kind of movement! The whole Beachbody program always inspired me to be positive and not dwell on the negative! I progressed slowly but I progressed! Due to the spinal damage, I have to keep one foot on the ground at all times so high impact is out. To burn the same amount of calories I did prior to surgery, I just have to exercise longer! I'm just so blessed to be able to move!I started taking Shakeology DAILY in January 2011 and in 45 days my waist was 1 1/2 inches smaller! Love that stuff! Would love to talk,encourage and energize you! God is so good and He blessed us all with a body and an awesome Spirit! Let's keep that body in good shape and let our spirit SHINE THRU!!!!!!!
