I am 48 years old and I had just gotten tired of being sick and tired. I was thinking, at my age what program could get me back in shape? I used to play basketball 4-5 times a week and now its down to 1 or 2 because everyone I used to play with has stopped. The first 90 days were the toughest on P90X. Getting used to the routine was difficult with having to get up at 5am and also the videos were very challenging and exhausting, but they were fun and really made me want to get up the next day to workout again. I had to get used to the change in my diet and also began to notice how eating wrong foods affected my energy and workouts at this time we were not using any of the supplements. After this I decided to try the recovery drink, the whey protein powder, the energy bars and the 2 day fast. Adding these to my routine along with healthy meals and snacks really made me see results quickly. These few months of doing P90X have really made a difference in my endurance, fitness level, confidence, energy and given me a new positive outlook in every aspect of life. Doing this was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
