***PLEASE NOTE*** - If I have been assigned to you as a coach, it is company policy that you contact me first. I can be reached at cpacoach@yahoo.com. Feel free to contact me any time. I look forward to helping in any way I can. With dedication and hard work, I believe the MDB/Beachbody workouts, supplement and dietary assistance can help anybody reach their goals.

My story - I grew up a pretty athletic and active kid. I pretty much ate what I wanted, but still stayed in good shape through college. Once I got out in the "real world" and got a desk job, my eating habits, lack of exercise and slowing metabolism caught up with me. My weight fluctuated quite a bit in my 20's between 210 and 230 depending on whether I was working out and eating right or not. I traded my 34in waist pants in for 36in. Then, in my late 20's, my 36in pants were traded in for 38's. I couldn't get myself to work out or eat right consistently. It was always, "I'll start next Monday". Even the times I did start on Monday, there was always an excuse to jump off the wagon with a few days. I basically had no willpower.

Then came last tax season (2007). I'm a CPA that works between 65-80 hours per week from mid-February to mid-April. One of the "perks" at my job is that our firm buys us food constantly during our busy time since we typically come in early and stay late. Well, I certainly made the most of that. I entered tax season around 230lbs. and by April 15th I was up to 250lbs and stretching out my 38 inch pants. I wasn't the only one in my office that had put on a few. We decided to have a Biggest Loser competition in our office from mid-April until the end of July. On April 16th I joined a gym and worked out the first time. It was rough at the start, but I proceeded to go to the gym 5-6 days a week until the end of the competition. I did 45 minutes to and hour of cardio every other day with weight training in between. I gave up fast food, ice cream and regular soda pop and I stayed more committed to diet and exercise that I had in my life. By the end of July, I got my weight down to 200lbs., and easily won the competition. I proceeded to keep the weight off until Thanksgiving. Between Thanksgiving and Christmas I gained 10 lbs., but I still felt pretty good. However, my workouts were getting stale and boring and I just wanted something to take me to the next level. My wife asked a trainer at the gym what he recommended, and P90X was his answer. She ended up getting it for me for Christmas.

Knowing the demands of tax season, I decided to wait until April 16th to start my first round of P90X. I got into some of my old eating habits during tax season and ended up at 223lbs. by the time I started the program. All I can say is the first 30 days have been incredible! I feel things tightening up all over my body and I can't wait to see what it looks like in 60 more days. My strength and endurance have already improved greatly. The eating plan is very easy to follow and the MDB website is a great resource.

After 90 days, I'm in the best all around shape of my life. My core is tighter than it's ever been. I haven't quite reached my goal of a 6 pack, but I know it's attainable. I will be starting a second round of P90X in August, and I've decided to be a coach. I'll check in as my second round progresses.
