I'm a Realtor in Ithaca, NY, who's always been into fitness and nutrition, but simply as a light-weight part of my daily life.
Ask me what I love to do, and depending on the season I'll give you a different answer, but in general I love to walk, run, play tennis, hike, swim, row (in an Adirondack Guideboat), paddle, kayak, sail, ice Hi, Beachbodies (and soon-to-be Beachbodies!)

Just last winter in Belize my husband and became PADI certified scuba divers! What a blast, and our instructors indicated we were the oldest their shop had certified-- which I'm not embarrassed to share. At 65, my motto is, "Age is not an obstacle, it's an opportunity."
Over the decades I've added a few pounds around my middle and knew I could and should be stronger if I committed to it. So two years ago I did Turbo Jam, I've tried P90X, and have recently completed Slim in 6.

January 24, 2013 First of all, my "Overall Goal" is not just to build muscle, it's "really to Lose Fat and Build Muscle." Having started exactly 5 months ago today, I have met many aspects of my goals, however I still have 8 lbs to go-- I think I've lost about 12 lbs (though I didn't weigh in at the start). I delayed strength training until only 10 days ago, so results in that category are just beginning to show up.

05/08/13 It's interesting that I never expected to meet my goals.
