I was born and raised in Harrisburg Pennsylvania and moved to Albuquerque New Mexico in 1988. For the last twenty three years I have been in and out of the gym trying to find the right workout. I have always been in good shape but not where I wanted to be. I have seen the P90X commercial on TV and always wondered about it. Turning forty in August of 2009 I had reached an epiphany. I took a serious look at P90X. I did have some concerns though. Three years ago I had a serious neck injury at work and had some major problems. I did have neck surgery (July 2009) and had a titanium disc put in my neck. The recovery was long and difficult. I started P90X (the first time) in the end of November 2009. I got threw the first 4 weeks and then had a minor heart attack. Well with that said I was out for several months and now have come back (March 2010). My doctor actually advised that I do the workouts to strengthen and condition my heart. Well it's April 25th, 2010 I'm starting my 6th week. I have lost 10 pounds and hope to loose another 10. By the way people my beachbody coach is my big brother Ron Kerlin. He started P90X about a year and a half ago and lost 32 pounds his first go around. He looks and feels better than he did twenty years ago. This has really worked for me and I know I will be doing this for a long time.

Results: Lost 13 lbs
Gained 2 lbs of muscle

The workouts continue with P90X one on one and P90X Plus.
P90X MC2 (muscle confusion) coming 2011. Can't wait!
