I am a 46 year old male. I am 5'10" and weight 220lbs.

When I started this program I weighed 220 pounds. I completed the P90X program and feel great! My weight is down to 205. I have effectively lost 15 pounds. But with all the muscle I’ve built I have More ...
When I started this program I weighed 220 pounds. I completed the P90X program and feel great! My weight is down to 205. I have effectively lost 15 pounds. But with all the muscle I’ve built I have probably lost about 20 pounds and gained 5 pounds of muscle. When I started the exercises they were very difficult and had a tough time finishing them or had to stop before the end of the workout. I didn't believe I could ever complete them.

But with Tony Horton pushing me through the exercises on every dvd something began to happen over time. I began thinking, "Heck, if these people can do it, then I can, too!” I stuck with it and BANG! I completed the 90 day program working through the exercises with energy and gusto; except for maybe the Ab Ripper X and Yoga X (they are still very hard but I am getting better and stronger each time).

My workouts are energizing and strengthening me everyday. I've been playing basketball and taking it to the hoop like in the old days. Wow! I hadn't played ball in over 20 years and now I feel like young again.

Even better is how good and fast I feel when sprinting. I experienced a young and energetic spring in my step; like I did when I was in high school. I used to experience aches and pains in my joints and legs but not anymore. The bounce in my run is so enjoyable now and I feel alive and powerful.

And the best part is I'm able to recover quickly for the next day with minimal soreness.


I feel better and more energetic at work and when I get home I still have energy to play with my kids. I can now play with my kids (ages 7, 5 and 4) without pain, strain and not get worn out.

It is so much fun now. I feel like a kid myself.


Just want to say thanks for all the tools and advice. It is keeping me motivated. I now look forward to working out everyday and my quality of life has improved dramatically.
