I'm one of those people who have been on some type of diet for most of my life! I have ALWAYS struggled with my weight! It's a joke around my house that every time I lost weight, I'd get pregnant, and pregnancy for me meant 50+ pounds! I could lose weight sometimes, but was always trying to do so without exercise! After my third baby, I was a lump- no motivation, constantly eating, and miserable in my clothes! Early in 2012, my husband was diagnosed with a multitude of health problems which was a wake-up call for me. Calorie counting was a small part of the equation, and once I lost some initial weight just by eating less, I decided it was time to ramp up my results!
I do not work outside the home, but I do have three children (including a BUSY 15 month old girl!) and a husband. As much as I'd like to be lounging around the house in my pajamas all day, it just doesn't happen! HA! I need efficiency in my workouts! I've been doing this long enough to know what works for my body, and that is building muscle.
I have a history with Beachbody in doing Turbo Jam years ago, but am currently doing Les Mills Pump and I LOVE it! I love feeling strong and a little weak-legged after my workouts!
I hope to inspire others that they CAN do whatever they set their minds to!!!

I've been overweight most of my life, with not an athletic bone in my body! Ten years ago, I started Weight Watchers and the Firm workouts, and lost about 30 pounds. However, I became pregnant, gained it all back, and then some, and repeated this cycle with three babies! This year, I began again, for the last time, to lose weight and be healthier overall.
The Firm taught me years ago that weights added to my workout would produce the best results and I've always believed that! I am currently doing Les Mills Pump which I LOVE! When I'm done, I'll be moving into a more cardio based program, and then a hybrid. I'm loving the changes I'm making and the example I'm setting for my children!!
