I am a 57 years old lady, Francophone (please forgive my English errors) from Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. I suffer from arthritis, asthma and fibromyalgia but I go in life with a smile on my face and the will to better myself .

All my youth, even if I was strong built and plump, I have been very active doing intense roller skating (15 hours a week from age 17 to 24).

I was a sailmaker in my 30's and I did a lot of fast walking in my 40s (1 to 3 hours a day).

I am retired since December 2010.

I have a 30 years old son who is slim and fit because I taught him good eating habits and healthy way of living. It seem that I did not succeed in applying those rules to myself !

All my life I fought a weight problem with different diets and exercise programs and it worked for a while.

But in the last 5 years, my health went bad. I stop exercising because of asthma and the pain caused by arthritis and got depressed. I am now overweight and it doesn’t help my health condition.

I need to lose weight. My doctor told me it is urgent, but the regular exercises on the floor does not suit me since I can't go on the floor because of my weight and the pain caused by arthritis.

I have changed my way of eating... by cutting greasy food, adding more fruits and vegetables. It helps but it is not enough. I really need to exercice.

Turbo Jam seems to be appropriate for me since I can adapt it to my needs(starting slowly and not going on the floor to exercice for now)I am learning the basics slowly.

I hope that this will work for me. I just need to stick to the program ! I am not giving up !
