As early as high school I was a fitness fanatic! I was introduced to aerobics and strength training my junior year in high school and continued with fitness throughout my college and my early adult life.

Then life got busy!

I started my career in Corporate America, got married, became a group exercise instructor and BeachBody Coach and had my first child! Even though I was fully engaged in the world of fitness the weight kept coming on and I was at my heaviest after my son was born! I struggled with my weight for almost 2 years UNTIL finally 1 day I realized I hated how I looked and felt. This came in the form of not wanting my picture taken. All the memories I was capturing of my son…lacked me in them!!! It hit home! At that point I DECIDED that I wanted to do something about my weight and my health. I assessed what I had at my fingertips and finally opened the box to the BodyBugg that I had purchased, wiped off the dust from my ChaLean Extreme program, and COMMITTED to not only exercising on a consistent basis…but also changed the way I viewed food and the food choices I made throughout the day. The weight started coming off!!! My body started taking a shape I never thought possible! There was muscle definition in places I only dreamed of! I met my abs and biceps for the first time and fell in love! In 3 months I lost 24lbs!!! I was elated!!! And I kept going! I started Insanity and lost an additional 6 pounds and got down to 15% body fat!!! Wowza!

Finding the healthy and fit ‘me’ has been empowering! It ignited a passion that before didn’t go past myself. After my transformation, I wanted to share it with others and let them know that if I was able to do it that they could do it too!!! Not only was I sharing, but people noticed! People started asking me questions, asking me for advice; they wanted to know what I was doing! And I was more than happy to share!

The biggest take away from my transformation was my understanding of nutrition! What I lacked all those years exercising was the understanding of the importance of food and food choices! I learned, that the majority of weight loss or weight maintenance is making the right food choices…once you deviate from this…no amount of working out will offset the caloric intake that comes with eating too much of the wrong stuff!

I now celebrate my SUCCESS by sharing it with people looking to be fit and healthy!
