In fall 2006 we took a family cruise and it wasn't till I saw the pics from that cruise that I decided I had to do something (my before pic). I had to buy new clothes for that cruise since most of what I owned I could no longer fit into. I had gotten back up to a size 10 or 12 which is tough for my small frame to carry.

In spring 2007 I joined a gym and hired a personal trainer. After a year I had made progress for sure but I had no idea how much quicker I could have seen those same results if I would have known about P90X. Would have been a lot easier on the pocket book too.

In May 2008 my husband said he had gotten this P90X workout thing and was going to start doing it at home. On day 2 I came home from my gym workout and he was doing plyo. I figured why not join him for the rest of the workout and see what it is. I had never even heard of P90X. Day 3 I skipped my normal gym workout and stayed home to try the next video.

Since working out was definitely not his favorite thing to do in his free time, I decided to take 90 days off from my normal routines and do this P90X thing with him. Figured it would give him some support and since I felt kind of stagnant in my own progress but happy with where I was at that it couldn't really hurt.

I can say that after 2 rounds of X and X+ that I have made more progress than I did in over a year working out with a personal trainer and paying out lots of $.

At 40, I have the most lean muscle that I have ever had. I never thought I would have a 6 pack in my life, and definitely not at the age of 40 after having 2 kids. I can do pull-ups which I couldn't even do in high school to pass a fitness test. I can do over 150 push-ups in one hour workout with Tony Horton, and they are on my feet (no girl push-ups for me).

After about the first 120 days, I returned to my normal gym one day just to check in with a few friends I had made there and for a quick workout on the way home. People I didn't even really know but had seen me there on a regular basis stopped me to ask what I'd been doing since they had not seen me in there in several months but were in awe of my results. I have people constantly asking me what I've been doing at work, at doctor appointments, out running errands, etc. I am surprised at how many people recognize the name P90X and may have seen the infomercial but just weren't sure if it really works. I am happy to share with them my story and the pics of my success as well as many other folks that I have met on the message boards and in person.

I am excited about the opportunity to be a beachbody coach and help lots of others see the same fantastic results I have had and reach or exceed their fitness goals.
