In addition, I can inform you on how to EARN MONEY as you “get fit” by being an independent Beachbody Coach.
A little about me: I'm 46 years young. I have five children (28, 25, 23, 20, & 17) as well as four grandchildren (6, 3, 2, 6 mths). I’ve worked out off an on for several years, but over the last few have allowed my job to take precedence over my health and well being. I’m a police sergeant and have been doing police work for 25 years. I’m currently a Homicide Detective which is very demanding and consumes a lot of my time. There are times I have worked 20 to 30 hours straight, got a few hours sleep, and then went back to work. Needless to say, my workouts lessened, my weight grew higher and my waist got larger. I was at 220 pounds, not bad for my height (6‘00“), but in all the wrong places. My clothes were tighter and some just didn’t fit at all. The occasional times I put on my uniforms was a laugher. I looked in the mirror with disgust. I wanted to get myself back into shape and to look and feel better. I need some motivation.
I was up late one night (Imagine that) in May of this year (2009) and saw a “Beachbody” infomercial for P90X. I did the UNTHINKABLE thing, I watched the infomercial (LOL). I have never been one to watch infomercials, let alone buy anything from them. However, I was so intrigued by the ad I watched the entire thing. I was so interested that I bought the P90X workouts videos that night. After doing a couple of the workouts, I began talking about them with my friends at work. Lo and behold, four or five others in my office were doing the same workouts. Each of them was having a great deal of success and had only good things to say about the workouts. I talked with my wife about the videos and she too liked the idea of doing the workouts. She joined in and has had great success.
I began the P90X workouts near the end of May and finished at the end of September. It took me 125 days to complete the 90 days thanks to the aforementioned JOB. I was able to drop from 216 pounds to 201. I reduced my body fat from approximately 28% to under 20%. I lost over four inches from my waist and hips. In addition, I added at least two plus inches to my chest and an inch to each of my biceps. I lost a lot of the fat in my thighs all the while increasing the size in my thighs. I was pleased beyond imagination with the results I got from the P90X workouts. A few injuries have slowed me down and have put back about 15 pounds and four inches to my waist. I am on a mission now to complete a second round of P90X and get back to the shape I was in at the end of round #1.
The successes from round #1 inspired me to become an independent Beachbody Coach. I want to share my successes with others and help them as the reach their goal of taking control of their lives, getting in shape, looking and feeling better, and living healthier lives. In addition, I’d like to show them how becoming a beach body coach can help them make money as they get in shape. Please join me and together we can improve our quality of life.

I became a P90X graduate on 9/22/09 !!!! I began my workouts in the latter part of May 2009 and due to some extensive work hours, missed several weeks. However, I stuck with the program and am extremely please with my results. I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t quite make it to where I had dreamed of being, but that was entirely my fault and not the workouts. The workouts are phenomenal. What I can say is this; Even though I missed several workouts (about five weeks) due to my crazy work schedule, I still had wonderful successes. My weight was reduced from 216 pounds to 201 as of this morning (9/22/09). My body dropped from over 28% to approximately 18%. I lost more than four inches from both my waist and hips while my chest and thigh size have increased.
These workouts are for real and they work. You just “Have to get your mind right boss” prior to starting (LOL).
UPDATE: Toward the end of 2009, I injured both of my elbows (ligaments) and ceased workouts. Needless to say, I gained weight (back to 217) and added inches to my waist. I am determined to complete the P90X workouts again and get beyond where I was before. If you’d like to join me, I’d be more than happy to work with you as I work my way back.
