Former College Football player (Center) looking to drop the extra weight and get fit.The heaviest I have ever weighed was 310 during my Junior year. After football, I settled down to about 290. I did p90x for about 45 days the first time around, without changing my diet. I never paid any attention to my diet before, when I was playing football. So I figured if I just worked out hard it would be ok. I gained a little muscle mass and dropped a few pounds but nothing spectacular. "Life got in the way" and I stopped. Well, I decided i needed to mix it up, so I added some insanity workouts and created a hybrid. I only lifted twice a week and every other day was cardio focused. I dropped from 285 to 238. I am excited about my results but I know I still have a ways to go. Next on deck is Insanity: The Asylum, then P90x2. I'll see where I am after that. I seem to have my diet dialed in and I must say, Shakeology is making a huge difference. Keep pressing play! UPDATE: I completed Asylum and lost about 10 lbs in 30 days. I liked it so much I bought it for my cousin who is a goalie (Hope Solo sponsors the Asylum). I can't wait for Vol II to come out! (it is supposed to be released TODAY! 10-10-12) I am about to wrap up P90x2 and I currently weigh 211!I feel amazing! I have already purchased Body Beast and will be doing that when I am finished with X2. I recently just became an Emerald coach and I love paying it forward to others. So if I have been assigned as your coach, please don't hesitate to contact me. I prolly have already sent you a welcome email! :-) UPDATE: I have completed P90x2 and got down to 209! I am leaner than I ever thought I would be. I loved X2! After than I completed Asylum Volume 2. Again, Shaun T made another great program, this one seemed to focus more on strength, and I actually gained 2 lbs of muscle w/o gaining any body fat. I am now about to start the last phase of Body Beast an I have already gained 10 lbs of muscle. This program is nice because it is almost all lifting weights, which I enjoy. I have sampled a couple of the Combat videos and I can say those are tons of fun. After I complete Body Beast I will start on a Hybrid of all the programs I own. It will be set up like the P90x schedule. Where days 1,3,5 are weights/resistance and days 2,4,6 are cardio focused. If you ever have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I love being a BeachBody coach and helping others. I just recently helped a girl lose 65lbs! I am so proud of her. Others on my team have lost over 30lbs and have kept it off as well. Hope to talk with you soon!

I was a football player in high school and college. I was a Center so had to be big. I ate all the time to make sure I was at a decent playing weight. I got up to 310! I wore size 42in pants and had a 21in neck! I worked hard to be that big and when I played my last game I had not considered what I would do weight wise. Truth be told I didn't do much at all. I wasn't as active, I would play basketball every know and then. I lost a lot of my muscle mass but got down to about 290. I was still fat, but now without any muscle. I stayed like this for a long time. Received my MBA, bought a house, got married, and just accepted that I was always going to be a big guy. That was until I saw an infomercial showing you can workout in your own house and have pretty amazing results. At first, I was skeptical and didn't think anything of it. But after seeing it about 20 times I thought I'd give it a shot. I started P90x not paying any attention to my diet and saw mediocre results and gave up after about 45 days. Then I gained back the small amount of weight I lost. Didn't touch them again for a long time. I was browsing YouTube one night and came across Coach Wayne's transformation video. I was blown away. He had a nice website that had a bunch of nutritional information. Enough to realize that I failed because I neglected my nutritional needs. I mean I defeated the Red Barron at my local burger joint. 6 half pound patties on a burger in 30 mins! Needless to say I started over but changed my diet. Then weight starting falling off. I continued to learn more about my nutrition and the more I learned the faster it would come off. Then when I started Shakeology, it was simply melting off. I have been using Shakeology every morning for breakfast since May 2012. I feel that Shakeology and a free food tracking app called MyFitnessPal were game changers in my fitness transformation. I have done Insanity the Asylum P90x2 and Body Beast as well. I love all of the programs and I see differences in my body after completing them. Losing so much weight has attracted so many of my friends and family to asking me how I did it. I talk about BeachBody all the time. I became a coach and I love the fact that I am "Paying it forward" I love when I see someone I help get fit. I continue to press play everyday and dial in my nutrition. Beachbody has given me the tools I needed to succeed and I am very passionate about Beachbody because of that. I know everyone says it, but if I can do it, anyone can. Its a program that works and the only way it doesn't work is if you don't do it. I never thought I would ever have a 6-pack in my life and every now and then when I walk by the mirror I lift up my shirt to see my abs because I don't believe they are there! I mean I used to be a foot wider in my mid-section! You could say I took the 6-pack out of the cooler! There is no way I am going back to the old me. Nothing tastes as good as being fit does.
