I know I am not the norm. First of all I am 67 years old and have a few health issues. I am in pain most of the time because of Fibromyalgia. I do have a very comfortable life style and can plan my day how ever I chose, since we are retired farmers. Yes, I live everyone's dream fresh air, lovely veiw as far a the eye can see. But even at my age I want to be healthier and know I can help myself by exercising and eating healthy.
I am so loved by my family and bless to have my granddaughter be my coach. My daughter is her coach so with the help of Beachbody we will be 3 generation of loving healthy family.
This said I want to walk you through my promise to walk 30 minutes a day. Putting my walking shoes on is the true example of the pain I must overcome to go for a walk. I sit and lift my legs and put on my sock and shoes. Tieing each shoe is enough to make me want to change my mind and give in. My muscles are stiff and hurt. I start a slow walk till I feel comfortable and tell myself it will get better. As I increase my speed the pain is just there. I have a path I walk everyday and it is great. I follow deer track, make the birds fly from the tops of the corn growing on both sides of me. I take pride in seeing our land produce and fill my mind with wonderful thoughts. I am a child of God and enjoy the wonders of His world.
My walk is finished and I struggle to remove my shoes, I am proud of me. I do appreciate the whirlpool bath. I will enjoy the evening's rest and join my husband in our home.
