Murfreesboro, TN Let's see...a little about me. I'm 36, married with 2 daughters, and I'm a CPA which means I sit behind a desk for too many hours a day. I've always had a struggle with the bulge, but it's become a bigger problem as I've gotten older, more involved in work, etc. etc. Of course the sad thing is I've always been content with the "I'll get to it Let's see...a little about me. I've always had a struggle with the bulge, but it's become a bigger problem as I've gotten older, more involved in work, etc. etc. Of course the sad thing is I've always been content with the "I'll get to it tomorrow. I'll lose weight and start exercising tomorrow." Tomorrow, tomorrow, tomorrow, it became my mantra.
Unable to sleep one night due to acid reflux (hmmm...there's a sign), I saw a P90X infomercial. Of course seeing the people on the video, I was impressed by their transformation, but I had the defeatist attitude of "oh I can't do that, that's too much work, they're probably on steroids, etc." and many other ridiculous excuses. But then one of the testimonials made the comment he heard from a friend. "Who do you want to raise your children when you're gone?" Ouch, busted, hit home, right between the eyes, guilty as charged, well you get the idea.
I decided then to make a commitment to getting myself back in shape. The only thing I ever want to see 316 on again is my Bible. After a lot of research and discussing with friends, I made the plunge and purchased Power 90 as it looked like a good starter program, which I felt I needed.

Beginning the process has been hard, but I know in the end it will be worth it. I just have to persevere, keep moving forward and keep pushing play!
