I started my workout regime towards the end of 2006, about a year after my daughter was born. I had seen enough rolls on my midsection to realize I had to do something. I first began lightly jogging and walking a mile around my neighborhood block the first couple of days, then gradually moved up to a light jog in four days. Then I went from one mile to a mile in a half and then two. After my jog, I would use 5 lbs. dumbells and work on my arms. I began to notice a change in my body almost instantly, (about a couple of weeks) due to the cardio. So, feeling excited, I kept right on working out about 4 times a week. After a couple of years doing the same exercises, my body did plateau and I didn't see any more changes to my physique.
Then, I got on the Turbo Jam and P90X programs. Tony Horton and Chalene Johnson made the workouts fun and invigorating!

I am now a P90X graduate! I saw real results! My hamstrings were buff, and my hamstring muscles protruded when I flexed! My arms got stronger and more toned, and my waistline is shrunk about an inch in a half. But what was real exciting for me was the results I got with my buttocks! I felt my pants "filling out".
Taking the P90X supplements, whey protein powder and the P90X recovery drinks helped my body get to its optimal condition.
Since then, I have been on a break.... a year long break to be exact. I haven't completely 'let go' but i can definitely use a bit more toning up. So now, I am back on another program, BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) and I am as pumped as ever! I can feel my body 'coming back'. It's been tough going, but I am very excited about my end results. I'm going to get it! And with the help of my Lord above, and my Beachbody workouts and family, I can't lose! So, tune in a later for my results at 4 weeks. Right now, I'm at the end of week 2. I'm gonna keep pressing play!
