Hi! My name is Jardena (pronounced jar-day-na). I'm 28 years old, I live in
NYC (born and raised), and I've been working as an emergency medicine
physician assistant for the past 6 years. I grew up in a traditional African
American family with a strong family medical history of obesity, diabetes, and
heart disease. I've managed to reduce my risks by losing 95lbs over the last
10 years,

Transformation story

Change is a journey and over the years I have tried various diets (both healthy
and unhealthy) and multiple exercise regimens including Power 90 (way back
in the day, lol) and more More ...
Change is a journey and over the years I have tried various diets (both healthy
and unhealthy) and multiple exercise regimens including Power 90 (way back
in the day, lol) and more recently P90X (although inconsistently). In the last
10 years I was able to shed 95lbs. and gain self-confidence, self-esteem, and
self-love. But this isn't about food, exercise, and weight lost anymore....deep
down, I know I have yet to reach my full potential. I want to be "in the best
shape of my life".
A little over a year ago, a certain friend who had not seen me in a while,
bumped in to me in the street and said, "Wow, how did you lose all that
weight!" I told her about Beachbody/P90X and I gave her the "Watch this DVD
first" disc. In a matter of months, this person has transformed her life,
has achieved incredible physical fitness, and inspires thousands...including
me. I realized I had a story to tell and by sharing I could change the course of
someone's life for the better! I embraced the Beachbody team like I never did
before and it was the best thing I ever did!!!

Over time I became more consistent and disciple with my eating habits and
my workouts; I joined the support groups and asked for help/advice. And
more importantly, I made myself accountable which is KEY to staying on track
and success!!

to encourage and guide you on your journey to great health! USE IT;)

This has proven to be the toughest and most challenging leg of the race, but I
know it will be the most rewarding and I am looking forward to it!
